As Tal, Cologne's excessively prolific and influential Wolfgang Voigt produces ambient and experimental techno that falls in line with his work as Gas, Mint, and All. In late 2001, Voigt contributed a ten-minute Tal track to Kompakt's Pop Ambient 2002 compilation. Like a lot of Voigt's other work in the ambient terrain, it seemingly had no beginning or end, instead focusing on slowly shifting waves of feather-light fuzz.
