Dungen bassist Mattias Gustavsson's more pop-oriented side project, Life on Earth!, traded some of Dungen's garage-psych guitar muscle for lighter (but equally retro-informed) arrangements. Beginning in 2006, with the release of the debut Your Karma Is Coming, Life on Earth! provided the other side of the late-'60s/early-'70s coin -- the sunnier, more pastoral and sweeter side.
