Keyboardist Kingfisher was born in Sacramento, CA and began playing the piano at age 11, continuing his musical education through schooling, gigs with several rock bands and a female impersonator, and eventual session work on advertising jingles, film scores, and demos. A self-released album called Floating Upstream appeared in the early '90s, sold mostly in northern California and at Kingfisher's concerts.
