Lansing-Dreiden
Biography
Essentially a multimedia art project, New York-based Lansing-Dreiden is a self-described "company that sees no distinction between art and commerce -- or anything else." They began producing material in 2001 with the publication of their literary journal, -Death Notices. Little is known about the group's members, except that they are Miami natives, refuse to be photographed, will only conduct interviews by e-mail, and never perform live. Their audio debut, Incomplete Triangle, is an eccentric mix of garage, dream pop, space rock, and early-'90s techno. It was released in April 2004 on Kemado Records and followed in November by the EP, Sectioned Beam. ~ James Christopher Monger, Rovi
