Dog Trumpet is a quirky, Australian-based pop band featuring New Zealand natives Peter O'Doherty and Reg Mombassa (O'Doherty's brother Chris), both founding members of Mental As Anything, on vocals and guitars; touring bassist Tony Martin; and various players including drummer John Bliss, keyboardist Mike Gubb, Amanda Brown, and Andy Travers.
