Biography
Trombonist Jack Delaney has played with many traditional jazz greats and bands. He played with Johnny Reininger, Sharkey Bonano, and Tony Almerico during the late '40s and through the mid-'50s. He recorded often in the mid-'50s with Almerico's Parisian Room Band, accompanying Lizzie Miles. He also recorded in New Orleans, both with his own bands and with Ken Colyer and Pete Fountain in the mid-'50s. Delaney worked at the Roosevelt Hotel in New Orleans with Leon Kellner starting in 1958, and later reunited with Fountain. ~ Ron Wynn, Rovi
