Hyacinthe Jadin
from Versailles, France
April 27, 1776 - September 27, 1800 (age 24)
Biography
A member of the Jadin musical family, Hyacinthe was a piano pupil of Hullmandel. He, with his brother Louis, was an accompaniest of the Theatre de Monsieur. Hyacinthe's acknowledgements came with his concerts at the Theatre Feydeau. The quality of his solo pieces, and perhaps some of his own performances, were memorable. He was made a professor of piano at the Paris Conservatoire upon its founding. The majority of his works were written for the piano including keyboard sonatas that generated a romantic pathos. ~ Keith Johnson, Rovi
