Lee Bloom
Biography
Lee Bloom, pianist, has worked in many contexts on the San Francisco Bay Area music scene since 1990. Originally from Ohio, Lee began playing the keyboard at age two on a toy piano. He has toured with jazz groups in France and the Czech Republic. Lee has also worked as a session player, contributing to a variety of recording projects ranging from straight-ahead jazz to folk to heavy metal to country and western. He teaches music privately and is a member of the International Association of Jazz Educators. He has an academic background in visual arts and music, and is interested in the inter-relatedness of things visual and musical. Lee is also a licensed Architect., Rovi
