Biography
New York drill rapper B-Lovee's distinctive style combines aggressive vocal performances, familiar samples, and melodic sung flows for a take on drill that's paradoxically as accessible as it is volatile. He brought his rough-edged but pop-adjacent style to appearances on tracks by fellow Bronx rapper Kay Flock, as well as to projects like 2022 mixtape Misunderstood.

B-Lovee was born in 2000 and raised in the South Bronx. He began rapping in his teenage years, and in 2018 he started sharing his own tracks. Several self-released projects arrived before he had some breakthrough success with the 2020 singles "No Hook" and "Shot Down." Even more notoriety followed in 2021 when his tracks "My Everything" and "IYKYK" reached millions of listeners. B-Lovee's songs often used samples or familiar elements from established hits by artists such as Wayne Wonder or Mary J. Blige, making his melodic drill tracks stand out from the pack. He collected a cross-sample of his singles on the 2021 mixtape My Everything, which featured appearances from G Herbo, A Boogie wit da Hoodie, and Kay Flock. The next year's Misunderstood followed the same blueprint, compiling eight of B-Lovee's songs in a track listing that included some of his best-known material. ~ TiVo Staff, Rovi
