Biography
Coventry-based rapper/producer Jevon utilizes a variety of genre influences, including grime, hip-hop, R&B, jazz, and reggae.

Born in West London in 1991, Jevon was an aspiring footballer before a knee injury put a sudden stop to those dreams. Instead, he turned to music, realizing he had potential after a suspension from school where he spent his time writing his own words to Nas instrumentals. At aged 15 his family moved out of London, relocating him to Coventry. Listening to grime's first wave of heavy hitters, including Kano and Dizee Rascal, got him excited about the genre, although, as he ventured further into the world of production he realized he wanted to move away from the constraints of grime to incorporate all his influences. His first notable production gig was for Bonkaz' 2016 mixtape, Fuck Fame. He really broke out in 2017, though. He was featured on Nines' album One Foot Out, and, perhaps more importantly, had a role as one of three producers on XL's New Gen project. Not one to rush his own material, it wasn't until 2019 that he set out to release his debut EP, Spirits Chaos. ~ Liam Martin, Rovi
