Biography
Roswell, NM, native Susan Graham is one of the premier American opera singers around the turn of the century. She first started the road to her professional career at Texas Tech University, then moving on to the Manhattan School of Music. She won the Metropolitan Opera National Council Auditions and made her debut in 1991. She worked her way up through various productions, eventually having a successful run during the 1999-2000 season in three leading roles and several minor roles. She followed that with a world tour, landing her shows all over Europe and Canada. During the next season, she appeared in multiple operas and an operatic adaptation of the book -Dead Man Walking.
