Paul Vornhagen is based in Ann Arbor, MI, but his five albums as a leader and live dates around the country have sparked interest in the classic-jazz-based tenor saxophonist (he also plays the flute and sings). His band includes trumpeter Jimmy Cook, pianists Phil Kelly and Rick Roe, bassist Kurt Krahnke, drummer Pete Siers and percussionist Norm Shobey.
