A French percussionist, David Donatien got his start as part of the family of musicians at the Paris label Sensitive. He gained further chops over the years backing up a number of musicians and bands, culminating in 2007 when Donatien shifted from player to producer. His first major work as a producer came with the 2007 release of Yael Naïm's debut album. He collaborated with Naïm again on the 2010 release She Was a Boy. ~ Chris True, Rovi
