E.B. The Younger is the solo project of Lone Star State singer/songwriter Eric Pulido, who is also the frontman for Denton-based folk-rockers Midlake and a member of indie rock supergroup BNQT. Citing a wide array of influences like Joni Mitchell, Wings, Crosby, Stills Nash, Eagles, and Cat Stevens, Pulido enlisted help from Midlake bandmates Joey McClellan (electric guitar), McKenzie Smith (drums), and Jesse Chandler (flute), and Dallas-based session heroes Daniel Creamer (keyboards) and Beau Bedford (keyboards) of the Texas Gentlemen, in crafting his breezy debut solo album.
