Biography
A Harlem-born singer/songwriter, producer, and businesswoman, Cassandra Lucas first caught the public's attention as one-half of the platinum-selling R&B duo Changing Faces, alongside Charisse Rose from 1993 to 2000. After the dissolution of the duo because of creative differences, Lucas became an in-demand songwriter, working with a host of high profile artists including Donell Jones, Jody Watley, and Lisa Left Eye Lopes, among others. In 2013, she formed CRC Music, a company focused on developing new talent, with her husband Noel Chris Absolam. In 2017, she released a trio of solo singles, the inspirational "I Love You," the reggae-tinged "Give Love a Chance," and the club-ready "Music & a Beat. A fourth single, the sultry "Name on It," followed in early 2018. ~ James Christopher Monger, Rovi
