Biography
In 1998, sisters Amy and Meagan Alwood began performing as an acoustic duo in Columbus, OH. Amy wrote most of their songs, and after several local musicians approached them about starting a full band they expanded the lineup. The band was never quite solidified until they went to the studio to record their debut album, Marveline. Guitarist Josh Kayser, bassist Jon Beard, and drummer Annia Light-Brown came in for the recording process. Kayser and Beard did not last long, but new bassist Emily Allen came into the group in 2000, while they never bothered to replace Kayser. ~ Bradley Torreano, Rovi
