Biography
John Boy Billy are hosts of a popular morning radio show and is comprised of John Isley and Billy James. The duo's radio career originally began back in 1980 on WBCV radio in Charlotte, NC, before soon after leading to national syndication (eventually being heard on over 94 stations in 26 states). John Boy Billy pride themselves on being a "family" oriented morning radio show, as the show has obtained a large fan base among race car fans (a recurring theme on the show is that every Monday morning, the latest NASCAR winner calls in with "bragging rights"). In addition to radio, John Boy Billy perform their own comedy shows and have been issuing albums since the early '90s, including such titles as 1993's Two for the Show, Love Ya...Mean It, Dixie Diner, and Christmas Album, among others. ~ Greg Prato, Rovi
