Biography
When British indie rock band Les Incompétents decided to split up in 2006 after the assult of frontman Billy Leeson, three of the bandmembers proceeded to form the art-rock band Ox.Eagle.Lion.Man, which inspired an immediate following, particularly online, despite their minimal recording output. Their unique name -- with periods in place -- inspired by the Book of Revelation, Ox.Eagle.Lion.Man is a quartet comprised of former Incompétents Fred MacPherson (vocals), Shaun Paterson (guitar), and Tommy Howson (bass), plus former Bono Must Die frontman Tobi O'Kandi (drums). Signed to British indie rock outpost Transgressive Records, Ox.Eagle.Lion.Man made their recording debut with the Motherhood/Fatherhood single in 2007. A five-track EP was planned for release in 2008. ~ Jason Birchmeier, Rovi
