Lazy Dog is the creation of Everything But the Girl's Ben Watt and KISS-FM DJ Jay Hannan. The duo has been slicing and dicing within the London club circuit since Watt's mixing hobby was incorporated in EBtG's 1996 tour in support of Walking Wounded. Hannan was managing the very popular dance shop Blackmarket when he and Watt became fast friends. Both artists were fascinated with type of house music and breakbeats happening west of London, and years later they were playing select club dates in Paris, New York, and Prague. Lazy Dog released their self-titled album on Astralwerks, which included the favorite U.K. club hit Tracey in My Room, in fall 2000. ~ MacKenzie Wilson, Rovi
