Weiss is from Philadelphia and now resides in New York City. A very perceptive writer of songs about romantic irony (which have been covered by Anne Hills, Deidre McCalla, Robin Flowers, Marcy Marxer, Cathy Fink, and others), she has been nominated for a BMI Songwriters Award and two New York Music Awards.
