The founding guitarist of Illinois-based post-metal quartet Pelican, Trevor de Brauw has worked in multiple genres with great prolificacy. A highly textural instrumentalist with ambient leanings, de Brauw has been active in the post-rock scene since the late 1990s, exploring the outer limits of heavy music with a slew of forward-thinking outfits, including Chord, Tusk, Teith, Bee Control, Let's Pet and Bionic Rat, as well as with his flagship band. In 2016 de Brauw announced that he would be releasing his debut solo LP.
