Biography
The Original Harmony Ridge Creekdippers is a trio consisting of former Jayhawks leader Mark Olson, his wife, singer/songwriter Victoria Williams, and multi-instrumentalist Mike Razz Russell. Olson founded the group after leaving the Jayhawks in 1995, and released a series of albums, at first on his own Creekdippers Records label, though they were later picked up for distribution by other labels: The Original Harmony Ridge Creek Dippers (1997), Pacific Coast Rambler (1998), and Zola the Tulip Tree (1999). By the time of the release of the band's fourth album, My Own Jo Ellen, they were being billed as Mark Olson the Original Harmony Ridge Creekdippers. ~ William Ruhlmann, Rovi
