Amsterdam-based songwriter/electronic producer Palm Trees debuted in 2015 with his tropical, beat-driven reworking of the '90s R&B group Ultimate Kaos' song "Casanova." Instead of the lovelorn MIDI keyboards and throwback drum loops of the original, Palm Trees opted for a much brighter and dream-like reading of the song. The single was a huge success, racking up millions of streams online. Palm Trees went on to write songs for artists such as Sam Feldt and Martin Garrix, and in the summer of 2017 he issued the "You Are the One" single, featuring vocals by Chris Ayers. ~ Fred Thomas, Rovi
