Biography
Nashville-based Eef Barzelay is the frontman for Clem Snide, an alt-country/indie band that issued a handful of records in the '90s and 2000s, as well as provided the theme music for the television show #Ed. Barzelay formed the band in 1991 and briefly disbanded it in 1994. Clem Snide regrouped a few years later and released their first album in 1998. The band signed on with major label Sire for their second record, but was quickly dropped before finding a home with spinART. In 2006, Barzelay put out Bitter Honey, a solo album of sparse folk featuring Barzelay's voice and acoustic guitar. ~ Kenyon Hopkin, Rovi
