Detroit rappers Proof and Dogmatic came together in 2002 to record one song and ended up recording an entire album as Promatic. The two rappers had been longtime members of the Detroit rap scene -- Proof as a member of D-12 and Dogmatic as a solo artist -- and found they had much in common. They worked with the Sicknotes production crew for their self-titled Promatic album and supported its release on the Contra Music label by joining Eminem's Anger Management tour in summer 2002. ~ Jason Birchmeier, Rovi
