Vocalist/pianist Calvin Scott teamed with guitarist/vocalist/composer Clarence Carter in the early '60s. The duo cut some singles for Fairlane and Duke, calling themselves the C C Boys on the Duke material. Scott retired from the music business following a 1966 auto accident.
