Formed by Nicole Turley, Kimono Kult has a lineup -- featuring members of Swahili Blonde, Le Butcherettes, At the Drive-In, Red Hot Chili Peppers, and Dante vs. Zombies -- that seeths with creativity and imagination. The band's enigmatic sound is a free exploration of music, incorporating elements of free jazz, electro, and Afro-beat. Contributing to the musical experiments are Omar Rodriguez-Lopez, Teri Gender Bender, John Frusciante, Laena Geronimo, and Dante Adrian-White, all of whom combine their unique musical experience to create a sound that's playful and engaging.
