Miscreant was a short-lived melodic death metal band from Västerås, Sweden, featuring vocalist Johnny Wranning, guitarists Peter Kim and Peter Johansson, bassist/keyboardist Magnus Ek, and drummer Pontus Jansson. Lost in the shuffle of superior talent like In Flames and At the Gates, the band managed only one album, 1995's Dreaming Ice, before splitting up, with Wranning taking up with Ebony Tears, and most of the remaining members starting a new power metal band called Axenstar. ~ Eduardo Rivadavia, Rovi
