Biography
Scotland’s Unwinding Hours came to be in 2008 after the demise of popular dreamy alternative/post-rock outfit Aereogramme. Formed by vocalist/guitarist Craig B. and guitarist/programmer Iain Cook, the group’s penchant for wintry electro-acoustic vistas and AOR-friendly balladry sounded awfully familiar, much to the delight of fans who mourned the loss of the duo’s previous incarnation, a group that had buckled after four albums under the financial strains of balancing on the cusp of international success for almost a decade. The Unwinding Hours' eponymous debut arrived in March 2010 on the Chemikal Underground label. ~ James Christopher Monger, Rovi
