Biography
Love Arcade is the musical creation of frontman and multi-instrumentalist Snowhite (aka Christian Berishaj). Often performing live wearing a pair of angel wings, the Detroit native was not yet out of his teens before signing a deal with Atlantic Records on the power of mailed-in demos boasting his infectious pop/rock antics. Writing and recording songs in a home studio from a young age, Snowhite eventually began sending demos out to various labels, while his mom relentlessly cold-called and followed up with A&R reps. A rep at Atlantic finally listened to his music, which led to the signing of a proper deal soon afterwards. On his full-length debut, which he wrote the entirety of, not only did the 19-year-old sing all parts and play all instruments, but he also acted as his own producer, engineer, mixer, videographer, and graphic designer. Under the overarching name of Love Arcade, the resulting eponymous album was issued in August 2006 on East West. Various tour dates in support followed. Love Arcade's touring band further includes guitarist Thomas Amason, drummer Damon Pantfoeder, bassist Seth Anderson (Snowhite's cousin), and keyboardist Nathaniel Boone (Snowhite's uncle, though only a few years older than his nephew). ~ Corey Apar, Rovi
