JJ Lawhorn
Biography
JJ Lawhorn was only 17 when he signed a recording contract with Colt Ford's Average Joes Entertainment after he was discovered through his amateur song postings on YouTube by Nashville producer Jeremy Stover. His debut album for the label, Original Good Ol' Boy, produced by Stover, appeared in 2013 when Lawhorn was 19 years old, and featured songs (Lawhorn wrote or co-wrote all of them) that fit right in with Average Joes' stable of outlaw, maverick mud-bogging country artists who operated largely outside the Nashville music establishment. ~ Steve Leggett, Rovi
