Stephen Hero, named after the first draft of James Joyce's -Portrait of the Artist As a Young Man, was essentially a solo project of former Kitchens of Distinction bassist/vocalist Patrick Fitzgerald. Employing fellow Kitchens guitarist Julian Swales and ex-Primal Scream and Weather Prophets drummer/programmer Dave Morgan, Fitzgerald released the Landed EP on his own Ragoora Records in late 2000.
