Biography
Texas blues guitarist Joe Nadeau didn't begin his career as a solo artist, but instead built his reputation on his work with Kenny Wayne Sheppard. Sheppard hooked up with Nadeau when he was quite young and just figuring out the Texas blues circuit. Nadeau liked the ambitious musician and began to help him shape his sound as he joined Sheppard's band. The mentor/student relationship ended after the recording of Ledbetter Heights, when Sheppard was off to promote the album while Nadeau started to focus on his own material. Still friends, Sheppard even contributed to Nadeau's first solo recordings. The final results, Burning Sands, were released in the summer of 2002. ~ Bradley Torreano, Rovi
