Judy Dunaway
Biography
From rural Missisippi, Dunaway uses balloons, bottle brushes, and standard instruments for songs about monsters, nudity, death, and immigration. Her songs range in style from rock to salsa to country to blues to noise, suspended over irregular rhythms and forms that often incorporate free improvisation. This is experimental but not at all self-indulgent. ~ Richard Meyer, Rovi
