Biography
Tinashé is a British pop singer/songwriter with a wide-ranging style who made his full-length album debut with Saved in 2010. Born on April 4, 1984, he spent the first ten years of his life in Highfield, a suburb of the Zimbabwean capital Harare, before moving to England and starting life anew. Upon signing a major-label recording contract with Island Records, Tinashé made his debut in 2010 with the electro-pop single Mayday and toured in support of the Noisettes. Later in the year, he released the Zambezi EP and then made his full-length debut with Saved, an album with a wide range of contemporary pop styles. The soul-pop title track was released as a single around the same time as the album. ~ Jason Birchmeier, Rovi
