A member of the Bay Area's Mozzy crew, rapper June is also a producer under the name Juneonnabeat. After some stray singles and mixtapes, he debuted in earnest in 2014 with the mixtape On God and the album No Love Lost, No Trust Given. He produced numerous singles for Mozzy in 2015 and, a year later, he released the collaborative LP Yikiez Rentalz with Celly Ru. No less than five releases arrived in 2016. In addition to Yikiez, No Love Lost, No Trust Given 2 was issued as a mixtape, with June's solo album on Empire Records, Tomorrow Ain't Promised, dropping months later. June also produced two joint collaborations: one with crew boss Mozzy, Gang Related Siblings, featured Celly Ru, Young Mezzy, E Mozzy, Noni Blanco, and Mozzy Twin, and another, Please Don't Judge Me, featured Remedy. ~ David Jeffries & Neil Z.
