Biography
Morris Minors is a roots rock three-piece from the suburbs of Chicago. Comprised of three friends, vocalist/guitarist Cameron McGill, bassist Gabe Grout and drummer Paul Callen, Morris Minors came together in 2000 and tagged themselves after the biggest small car in the world, Great Britain's Morris Minor. They started off playing small gigs in local bars, but by 2001 the band was headlining shows at some of Chicago's finer clubs like Schuba's, the Double Door, and the Beat Kitchen. Shortly thereafter, Morris Minors began working with producer Mark Rubel (Hum, Mojo Nixon, Menthol) for a self-titled EP, which appeared in early 2002. ~ MacKenzie Wilson, Rovi
