Biography
Sean Dickson first made himself a name in the indie-pop group, The Soup Dragons. The Manchester four-piece achieved success with their catchy 1992 hit Divine Thing, but by the mid-90s, Dickson was looking for something else. He founded The High Fidelity in 1995 for a compilation released by High Times magazine and never looked back. The High Fidelity, which also included Ross McFarlane on drums and Adrian Barry on bass, made their debut with the Stash EP in 1996. Six years later, they issued their proper debut Demonstration. Alternative Press went on to hail The High Fidelity as one of the "100 Bands You Need to Know" in their March 2002 issue. ~ MacKenzie Wilson, Rovi
