Dinner is Ruined frontman Dale Morningstar had genuinely been dreading making a solo album for years but knew he had one in him. Avoiding working on it in his spare time while he engineered countless albums at the Gas Station studios, he finally knew he had to go through with it. Released in 2002, his debut solo album (not including a little-heard self-released album in 1988) displayed his talents as a lo fi pop singer.
