Biography
Based in Milan, Italy, Piero Milesi studied electronic and experimental compositions at the Conservatorio "G. Verdi" in Milan after early training as a cellist. He graduated from the University of Architecture in Milan, where he wrote a dissertation on the relationships between space and music. Milesi composed many pieces for visual spectacles, from ballet to film to fireworks displays. Working primarily as a composer, he scored numerous film, video, and television soundtracks, and released several albums on Cuneiform, including one of the label's very early releases, The Nuclear Observatory of Mr. Nanoff, in 1986.
