Biography
Originating in 1995 from the nation's capitol, the three-piece of Juniper would eventually find their place in the indie pop scene of San Francisco the following year. Within months of their relocation, A Turntable Friend would capture the Juniper pop of female-fronted innocents on the 1996 single You Don't Hide So Well. With the comparisons ranging from Velocity Girl to Henry's Dress, Orange Peel Records would follow up with the band's second EP, Making Gerard Smile, that same year. In 1997, Juniper signed on to Fantastic Records who helped finance the release of their third EP, Think and Die Thinking. ~ Mike DaRonco, Rovi
