Biography
Singer Ricky Lee Phelps first gained recognition as a member of the Kentucky Headhunters in the mid '80s. He released two albums with the eclectic honky tonk group, Pickin' on Nashville in 1989 and Electric Barnyard in 1991. After Phelps and his older brother Doug left the Headhunters in 1992, they formed the Brothers Phelps and released two albums, 1993's Let Go and 1995's Any Way the Wind Blows. Phelps took some time off from music before returning in 2003 with his first solo album, Sign of the Times. ~ Wade Kergan, Rovi
