Biography
Kwajo Boateng and partner L Dolo Frazer came from Rexdale, Ontario, a ward-community deep in the heart of Toronto. Together, they formed the rap duo Ghetto Concept and produced a slew of independently distributed recordings on vinyl and cassette. They won their very first Juno Award in 1994 for the independently released single Certified Dope. The following year they released E-Z on tha Motion, winning the 1995 Juno Award. With no major-label backing, these independent rappers released a self-titled, full-length in late 1998 on their own 7 Bills Entertainment label. ~ Roxanne Blanford, Rovi
