Fabiana Palladino
from London, England
Biography
Fabiana Palladino is an enigmatic London-based singer/songwriter whose yearning, slightly left-of-center tunes bring to mind influences such as Kate Bush and Prince, as well as more stripped-down interpretations of grandiose '80s synth pop ballads.
Palladino first reached public attention through her work with several British pop, R&B, and electronic artists. She sang the chorus on Ghostpoet's 2011 single "Survive It," and subsequently worked with the Maccabees, Jessie Ware, and SBTRKT. Additionally, Sampha produced her debut single, 2014's "For You." After receiving an unexpected e-mail from reclusive pop artist Jai Paul, Palladino became one of the first musicians signed to the Paul Institute, a platform for emerging artists launched by brothers Jai and A.K. Paul. Palladino's dreamy single "Mystery," produced and co-written by Jai, was released in November of 2017, with "Shimmer" appearing the following June. ~ Paul Simpson, Rovi
