Paul Politti
Biography
Paul Politti made a phone call that came at a key point in the career of Barry White. Politti and White had worked together at Bob Keene's Bronco Records. Politti contacted White to tell him that Larry Nunes was interested in starting a business with him. The connection led to Nunes become a strong supporter and spiritual advisor to a pre-stardom Barry White. Politti also co-wrote Those Oldies But Goodies (Remind Me Of You) with Nick Curinga, a 1959 top ten pop hit for Little Caesar and the Romans. Group member David Caesar Johnson had sung with a 16 year-old Barry White in the Upfronts, who recorded a few sides for Lummtone Records. ~ Ed Hogan, Rovi
