Glenn Horiuchi is a West Coast pianist who works to combine jazz with Asian and Western classical musics. Through the '80s and '90s, he released albums on the Soul Note, Asian Improv, and Music Arts labels and is most often found in lineups with multi-instrumentalist Francis Wong and drummer Jeanette Wrate. By the late '90s, Horiuchi had done recording with Joseph Jarman on Jarman's Pachinko Dream Track 10, and on his own release, Mercy. ~ Joslyn Layne, Rovi
