Biography
Formed in a Toronto high school in 1966 by vocalist Buzz Sherman, guitarist Gord Waszek, bassists Joe Agnello and Don Elliot, drummer Wally Cameron and keyboard player Newton Gerard, Leigh Ashford played for a year before they joined the Spirit to become the Spirit Revue. When that band broke up in 1968, Leigh Ashford re-formed, signed with Nimbus 9 and recorded their self-titled debut in 1971. The group split up the same year. ~ John Bush, Rovi
