John M. Borack is a Southern California-based music journalist who writes for GOLDMINE, AMPLIFIER, the PURE POP website (www.purepop.com) and THE GARDEN GROVE JOURNAL. A self-confessed power-pop maniac, John has also contributed to THE TROUSER PRESS GUIDE TO '90's ROCK, and has written liner notes for CD's by Tommy Keene, The Toms and The Scruffs. He also penned the notes for Rhino Records' "Poptopia! Power Pop Classics of the '80's."
