Biography
As the lead singer for Guadalcanal Diary, Murray Attaway led the band through four albums from 1984 to 1989. After an acrimonious break-up, he took a few years off to work on his songwriting but returned in 1993 on In Thrall, recorded for DGC. His new group of musicians included guitarist Robbie Blunt, multi-instrumentalist Jon Brion, bassist Eric Pressley, drummers Pat Mastelotto and Jim Keltner, keyboard players Nicky Hopkins, Steve Nieve and Benmont Tench. The album was produced by Tony Berg. ~ John Bush, Rovi
