Born in Mexico City in 1986, actor and singer Christopher Uckermann had already appeared on numerous advertisements and TV programs when in 2004 he joined the cast of Rebelde and became a member of RBD, the teen pop group derived from the show. Phenomenally successful even on a global scale, the group split in 2009 and one year later Uckermann launched his solo career with Somos. Uckermann continued to act, with leading roles on series such as Kdabra and 2019, and also became a music producer and a business entrepreneur.
